Ok, ok. These aren’t really frequently asked questions. They’re more like answers to anticipated questions. 😉
How do you make money when your rates are so low?
My business is built around my enjoyment of photography, travel, recreational activities, collaboration, and helping people. As such, my personal and professional lives are intertwined.
If you love what you do and people are happy with the services you provide, more and more people will want to work with you.
I make money on repeat business, referrals, and professional photo processing services.
I’m a happy camper as long as I’m enjoying what I’m doing and making enough money to continue to do it. Anything beyond that is a bonus.
Can I bring my friends?
Of course. Bring anyone that will allow you to have more fun or be more relaxed. Do keep in mind, however, that having an audience can make one self-conscious when it comes to having one’s picture taken.
Can I bring my child, children, or pet…?
Absolutely! But please consider the logistics of doing so and how it will impact your shoot and the photos we get.
I’m not always comfortable in front of a camera or don’t feel very photogenic. Will you provide guidance to help me get better photos?
Yes! I will provide as much or as little guidance as necessary to get the kind of photos you want.
I live outside of Southern California. Will you work with me?
I’d like to! And I love to travel, but unless I’m already traveling outside of SoCal, the cost to travel to your location could be too costly to make a shoot feasible.
Still, if working together is something you’d like to discuss, get in touch. I’m negotiable and I love a good adventure.
